The Accounting Clerk position has the duties of calculate and process bills, invoices, accounts payable and receivable, budgets and other financial records using manual and computerized systems. This position is full time Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. Position Purpose: The primary objective of the Accounting Clerk role is to offer comprehensive administrative assistance to the team members in various aspects. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy of both the Advertising Software and Accounting system. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the budgets and other financial records using manual and computerized systems
  • Maintain weekly, monthly, and year-end department reports
  • Accounts Receivable duties
  • Accounts Payable duties
  • Tax Reporting of GST and PST
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:
  • Must have proficient computer skills in Microsoft programs (or Google Docs & Sheets) and the ability to quickly and easily learn job related computer programs.
  • Must be professional, dependable, and able to perform administrative duties such as preparing forms, letters, documents, typing, data entry, maintaining files and records, etc. with speed and accuracy.
  • Knowledgeable of Quickbooks Online (or similar accounting program).
  • General accounting skills are required.
  • Demonstrating the capacity to prioritize tasks effectively, meet demanding deadlines, and manage time constraints is essential. Additionally, being adaptable, open to direction, and displaying flexibility are highly valued attributes.
  • The ideal candidate should exhibit exceptional organizational skills, a strong focus on goals and attention to detail. Excellent communication abilities are crucial, along with the capability to perform effectively under pressure.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $15.00-$21.00 per hour Benefits:
