Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented

Accounting Clerk

to join our accounting team in Terrace, BC. The successful candidate will support the accounting department by performing a variety of clerical and accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations across multiple companies.

Key Responsibilities:

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions Enter and reconcile financial data in accounting systems Assist with bank reconciliations and month-end reporting Maintain organized and accurate financial records Support payroll processing and related journal entries as needed Respond to vendor and internal inquiries regarding payments and invoices Provide general administrative support to the accounting team

Qualifications:

Certificate or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Minimum 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software is an asset Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
