Job Summary


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This role requires proficiency in accounting software and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles. Please note this is a term position to cover a maternity leave for approximately one year.

Duties



Process accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely Assist with the collection of accounts receivable Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure financial accuracy Preparation of various sales reports

Experience



Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role is preferred Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Excel) is essential Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices Experience with accounts receivable, account reconciliation and bank reconciliation is highly desirable Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills - both written and oral - with a demonstrated ability to engage and communicate effectively with employees and customers Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
