Roles and Responsibilities



Maintain a high level of discretion and integrity, ensuring compliance with financial policies, legal requirements, and internal controls. Perform day-to-day accounting tasks including invoicing, collections, GST/PST filings, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, ledger entries, and general accounting support. Process and reconcile vendor invoices, verify account statements, and prepare payments for management approval (Accounts Payable). Verify, post, and record incoming payments; reconcile the accounts receivable ledger and follow up on outstanding balances (Accounts Receivable). Prepare, maintain, and organize financial records and supporting documentation. Assist with month-end activities as required. Support the Controller and Director of Finance with additional duties and special projects as needed.

Minimum Requirements



1-3 years of relevant experience, supported by appropriate education or training A collaborative and professional approach, with respect for both internal teams and external stakeholders Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and follow through on tasks High level of integrity, dependability, and a strong work ethic Problem-solving ability and practical, common-sense thinking Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word Experience with QuickBooks and familiarity with ERP systems is an asset

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
