The Kirby Group of Companies is looking for an individual who will be responsible for managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, and all other items related to the financial operation as described below, while reporting to senior management.
Duties and Responsibilities:
While not limited to the following, the position will be responsible for:
- Accounting data entry for accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Invoice verification and payment processing
- Process accounts receivables and follow-up on overdue accounts
- Maintain organized files and documentation for all financial transactions
- Processing Payroll for employees
- All other task as directed by the employer
Job Qualifications:
- The individual must possess at least 3 years' experience in an accounting related position
- Comprehensive knowledge and extensive experience in Simply Accounting (Sage50) is a must. (Bank files, invoicing, Etc.)
- Fluent in Microsoft office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy
- Strong data entry and account reconciliation skills
- Effective communication and time management skills
