is looking for accounting clerk a skilled and experienced to perform a variety of accounting, bookkeeping and reporting tasks.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bookkeeper to manage the financial records of our virtual language school. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working remotely, handling multi-currency transactions, and supporting a global team of trainers and clients.

Key Responsibilities :

Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (e.g., Sage) Process invoices, payments, and receipts for clients and trainers worldwide Prepare monthly financial and activity reports for clients Process and verify invoices and timesheets received from Canadian and international contractors Liaise with external accountants for year-end reporting

Qualifications :

Proven experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a service-based or education setting Familiarity with Canadian and Quebec accounting standards and tax codes Strong proficiency in accounting software Sage and Excel Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in English or French Experience with international transactions and multi-currency accounting is a plus

Nice to Have :

Bilingual (English/French) Experience working with virtual teams Knowledge of educational financial structures
