The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial tasks. This role requires accuracy, discretion, and the ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Daily real estate transaction entries such as cheque preparation, wire transfers, and trust ledger reconciliations Daily postings of all banking transactions such as accounts receivables payments and trust receipts Responsible for the Firms Banking Needs (Deposits of Cheques, Cheque Certifications, etc.) Maintain financial records in an orderly accounting filing system Assist with monthly and year-end closings with an external Bookkeeper Maintain confidentiality of financial and client information Support audits and compliance checks Collaborate with lawyers and administrative staff on financial matters

Qualifications:



High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (law firm experience is a plus) Proficiency in accounting software (Cosmolex is a plus) Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Nous sommes actuellement a la recherche d'un(e) commis a la comptabilite fiable et minutieux(se) pour soutenir nos operations financieres et contribuer au bon fonctionnement de notre cabinet.

Description du poste :


Le ou la commis a la comptabilite sera responsable de diverses taches comptables, de tenue de livres et de gestion financiere. Ce role exige de la precision, de la discretion et la capacite a travailler dans un environnement juridique dynamique.

Responsabilites principales :



Les operations quotidiennes des transactions immobilieres telles que la preparation de cheques, les virements bancaires et les rapprochements de livres en fiducie Enregistrement quotidien de toutes les transactions bancaires, y compris les paiements de comptes clients et les recus en fiducie Responsabilite des operations bancaires du cabinet (depots de cheques, certifications de cheques, etc.) Tenue des dossiers financiers dans un systeme de classement comptable structure Assister a la fermeture mensuelle et annuelle des comptes avec un comptable externe Maintien de la confidentialite des informations financieres et des donnees clients Soutien aux verifications et controles de conformite Collaboration avec les avocats et le personnel administratif sur les questions financieres

Qualifications :



Diplome d'etudes secondaires ou equivalent ; un diplome en comptabilite ou dans un domaine connexe est un atout Minimum de 2 ans d'experience en comptabilite ou tenue de livres (une experience dans un cabinet juridique est un atout) Maitrise des logiciels comptables (Cosmolex est un atout) Grande attention aux details et excellentes competences en organisation Excellentes aptitudes en communication et relations interpersonnelles Capacite a gerer plusieurs taches a la fois et a respecter les delais
