ACCOUNTING CLERK

$42,000.00 per year + excellent benefits, pension, EAP and other great perks

In this permanent role you will provide clerical and administrative support to a not-for-profit organization that offers a variety of supports and services.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 You will provide clerical and administrative support including processing invoices, providing documents and reports, administrative tracking, letters/mailings and entering of contract information.

\xc2\xb7 You will also provide general administrative support including photocopying, faxing, emailing, form updates etc.

\xc2\xb7 You will track funding agreements and notify Manager in a timely manner of any discrepancies.

\xc2\xb7 You will review documentation and ensure all amounts, payments and general information is accurate.

\xc2\xb7 You will identify barriers to prompt payment or processing of invoices and work to proactively resolve.

\xc2\xb7 You will ensure signatures and approvals are obtained by the proper parties in a timely manner.

\xc2\xb7 You will file documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 You have a minimum of 3 years experience within an accounting, finance or office administration environment.

\xc2\xb7 You have a post secondary certificate or education in Finance, Accounting or Office Administration.

\xc2\xb7 You have demonstrated flexibility, excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively within a fast-paced environment.

\xc2\xb7 You are proficient in MS Office and working with a database.

\xc2\xb7 You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

\xc2\xb7 You are a team player, who contributes to the development and works cooperatively with team members.

\xc2\xb7 Experience within a not-for-profit organization is an asset.
