Accounts Payable / Payroll Clerk
to join our growing accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
Process and verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and subcontractor statements
Prepare, review, and execute bi-weekly payroll for employees and subcontractors
Manage payroll deductions, government remittances (CPP, EI, WSIB, EHT), and year-end T4/T4A preparation
Reconcile accounts payable sub-ledgers and resolve vendor discrepancies
Maintain vendor files and ensure timely payment runs
Support month-end and year-end closing with reconciliations and reporting
Assist with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in
accounts payable and/or payroll
(construction industry experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll compliance and regulations
Proficiency in accounting/payroll software (e.g., Sage 300, Sage 50, ADP, Ceridian, or equivalent)
Strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, reconciliations)
Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication and organizational skills
