Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our tax preparation team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. The Accounting Clerk will work closely with various departments to ensure timely processing of personal income tax returns, bookkeeping, payroll, and other financial tasks.

Responsibilities



Process personal income tax returns. Maintain financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks. Perform data entry tasks to ensure all financial information is up-to-date and accurate. Assist with payroll processing using systems. Conduct account reconciliation to verify the accuracy of financial statements.

Requirements



Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred. Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and data entry tools. Strong understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Excellent math skills with attention to detail for accuracy in financial reporting. Experience with financial services or related industries is advantageous.

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
