Job Summary

Undertake financial, administrative duties and monitor financial transactions.

Administer payrolls and arrange payments for invoices.

Prepare accounts, reports, budgets and financial statements.

Responsible for Bookkeeping and Tax preparation.

Responsible for collating, checking and analyzing financial information.

Advise and control income and expenditure budgets.

Calculate end of year accounts and ensure compliance with Tax Legislation.

This is a permanent full-time position working forty (40) hours per week within the Financial Accounting, Bookkeeping and Taxation department. The Accounting Technician is responsible for a wide range of accounting, financial, bookkeeping and taxation tasks. Reporting to the

Financial Accounting and Taxation Manager

. Minimum of 3 - 5 years of related experience in accounting, payroll, bookkeeping and taxation is required.

Pay rate: $26 per hour (depending on work experience).

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

Masters Degree or equivalent

Experience in accounting, payroll and Financial Reporting.

Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) qualification will be an added advantage.

Skills:

Experience in Quickbooks and advanced Excel required.

Experience in Financial Reporting.

Proficiency in working with large figures, strong mathematical and problem solving skills.

Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
