We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic
Accounting Clerk
who will be responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of the company financial record keeping: recording financial transactions, uploading documents into our software program, reviewing different types of documents, and perform other job related duties as requested by the management.
Responsibilities:
Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
Responsible for handling the fundamental aspects of the company financial record keeping
Recording financial transactions, reviewing documents, scanning documents
Type accurately, prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
Prepare bank deposits, general ledger postings and statements
Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
Provide assistance and support to company personnel
Research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies
Inform management and compile reports/summaries on activity areas
Function in accordance with established standards, procedures and applicable laws
Requirements:
Knowledge and experience in AR/AP
Experienced with QuickBooks AP functions
Experienced with service industry
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
An ability to work quickly and accurately.
Ability to perform several tasks concurrently with ease and professionalism
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with a high degree of discretion and tack
Excellent organizational and prioritization skills
Ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer knowledge- working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
