Summary

We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team at Tenshi Seafood Ltd. This role is essential for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations as we continue to grow. The position is based in Richmond, BC, Canada.

Responsibilities

- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping and basic accounting entries
- Prepare fish payment slips (Fish Slips) for local fishermen, detailing weights, rates, and payments
- Manage payment records, vendor documents, and transaction logs
- Assist with wire transfers, invoice sorting, and weekly payment cycles
- Work closely with operations to ensure all payment data is accurate

Requirements

- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) is required due to internal communication and coordination needs
- Basic English reading/writing for invoicing and emails
- Strong attention to detail and numeric accuracy
- Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Excel and accounting software preferred (Quickbooks)
- Accounting or office admin experience (more than 6 months)

Additional Information:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
- Salary based on experience
- Training will be provided
- Legal work permit required (PGWP, open work permit, PR, etc.
