GENERAL FUNCTION
:
Reporting to the Manager of Finance this position will be part of a multi-faceted team that oversees the creation and operation of safe, affordable, hopeful communities of housing and shared spaces across a spectrum of affordability, location, size, permanence, and support. The Accounting Clerk, alongside the Finance Team, will provide accounting supports to team members and departments within the organization. They will be responsible for the accounts payable and accounts receivable and develop hope through housing.
ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE SPECIFIC DUTIES & DETAILS:

Accounts Payable
Enter in all operations invoices
Seek approvals when required
Prepare weekly payment process for Manager of Finance approval
Maintain customer files
Reconcile Accounts
General Accounting Knowledge
1-2 years' experience in similar role
Additional degrees and/or certifications is a plus
Basic bookkeeping skills
Proficiency with Excel and QuickBooks online
Lived experience and/or working experience with communities we support
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and meet deadlines
Ability to communicate effectively to build a strong sense of team

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
