Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be required to:

  • Complete monthly bank reconciliations
  • Investigate and respond to questions from all other staff regarding cash and banking functions
  • Assist with annual trust audit preparation
  • Sorting and organizing bank statements
  • Scanning, sorting, and maintaining electronic records of bank reconciliations and cheque copies
  • Other duties as required
Job Requirements
  • Bank reconciliation experience with high volume, large accounts
  • Property management industry experiences an asset
  • High attention to detail
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Enrolment or completion of fundamental accounting course(s) or equivalent business experience
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Tech-savvy and proficient skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF Pro
  • Experience with a computerized accounting system
  • Solid communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Self-started and able to work independently
  • Understanding of general ledger transactions (journal entries, debits, credits) and GL account reconciliations
