Summary
We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team in the GTA. This role is vital in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to our commitment to excellence in property management.
Responsibilities/Requirements
College or University education with an accounting diploma or degree
Preferrably working towards a CPA designation
3 years experience in an accounting position
Accounting Duties
Full cycle accounting for a commercial property portfolio
Capable of preparing and analyzing monthly financials statements
Reconcile all commercial bank accounts monthly
Arrears tracking and reporting
Inputting commercial accounts payable and and creating cheques for payment.
Posting commercial accounts receivable for cheques and EFT's
Creating yearly financial records for audit purposes.
Compile monthly HST balances and remittances
Year end TMI
Yearly MPAC reporting
Field accounting calls from owners. Being able to explain the accounting principles as required
Additional Administrative tasks as assigned, writing up deposits, making adjustments etc.
