YOUR ROLE
The
Accounting Clerk
is responsible for the timely and accurate calculation of Advisor Partner commission advances, reconciliations, and monthly commissions. The Accounting Clerk will also enter accounts payables for Partners and process payments by electronic funds transfer. This role has a
hybrid
work arrangement, required to work on site in our
Surrey, BC
office with a few days at home.
This is a 6-month contract.
YOUR IMPACT
You will work as a team and assist the Partner Commission Accountant(s) to meet payment deadlines per Partner Commission Payment Policy
You will prepare Partner Advisor commission advances, actualizations, and monthly commissions using WEBS online software
You will prepare and PFD commission statements and send to Partners
You will enter Partner commission payables in Dynamics GP by electronic funds transfer
You will maintain Partner vendor records and banking information in Dynamics GP
You will respond to Partner inquiries in a timely manner
You will monitor and update the status of Advisor Partner licenses using Microsoft CRM software
WHAT TO EXPECT:
30 Days:
Understand of the relationship between GroupHEALTH and Advisor Partners
Have the ability to calculate Partner commission advances, perform actualizations, calculate monthly Partner commissions and enter and pay Partners using Dynamics GP
Understand the Partner commission payment policy & timeline
Complete all 4 CEBS employee benefits insurance courses
THIS IS YOU
You have a certificate or diploma in accounting
You have 1-3 years of experience in an accounting related role
You have a solid understanding accounting concepts
You are detail-oriented, accurate and ability to meet deadlines
You are organized and a quick learner and can adapt easily
THIS IS NICE
You have a high level of proficiency using Microsoft Excel
You have experience working with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains

YOUR COMPENSATION
At the time of this posting, the estimated pay range for this position is $40,000-$43,000. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and education/training. This range reflects the base pay and does not encompass our comprehensive total rewards, benefits, and potential bonuses that we proudly offer.
