Job Description

We are seeking an

Accounting Associate

for a

one-year contract

to support our Vancouver location. This role will provide coverage during a maternity leave and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our finance team while supporting meaningful work in our local communities.

The Opportunity:

The role comes with a total compensation package comprised of an annual salary ($50-60k), quarterly bonus potential, health, dental & insurance benefits, and a wellness spending account.

As our Accounting Associate, you need to be a quick learner, flexible, adaptable, proactive, and possess a high aptitude for time management. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a positive attitude, passion for the industry, and an ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This role will

support

to administrate our accounts payable and

manage

accounts receivables. They will support other accounting duties to ensure financial reporting is accurate and completed on monthly basis.

Daily, you'll collaborate closely with the

Accounting Manager

on record keeping, reporting, providing status updates.

What You'll Need to Know:



Accounts payable processing Accounts receivables management Reporting and business analysis Bank and Credit card reconciliation Performing full cycle of accounting for subsidiaries Other administrative work as required Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software programs Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions and data analysis Skilled in utilizing internet-based applications and tools in a professional setting
