Salary Range

: $50,000.00 to $55,000.00, salary will be based on experience and suitability for the position.

Responsibilities



Monitor and responsible for Accounts Payable tasks and functions. Monitor and responsible for Accounts Receivable tasks and functions. Prepare various reports using excel macros. Reconcile monthly bank statement and credit card statements. Month End Closing Entries. Assist with Year End processes. Payroll, WCB and GST/PST Filings Accurate, attention to detail & record keeping. Communicate in an effective & timely manner regarding client & vendor finance issues. Operate in a financially responsible manner. Strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines & achieve company goals.

Accounts Payable:



Review and post vendor invoices for Purchase Orders Review vendor statements for missing invoices and credits. Assist with weekly cheque and EFT run. Post company expenses and vendor invoices in Quickbooks. Completing vendor forms and credit applications.

Accounts Receivable:



Posting cheque, credit card and direct deposit payments. Issuing client statements for overdue accounts. Perform collection and follow-up with clients via phone and email. Review client profiles for credit limits and perform credit checks. Filling out client forms and EFT forms.

Team Membership:



Work effectively as part of the Finance team to service our clients, vendors and team.

Work in tandem with all internal teams, including but not limited to Customer Service, Fulfilment and Sales.

Communicate in an effective & timely manner regarding financial & client issues.

Qualifications



Education, Experience, Skills, Expertise:

DSC / DEC in Accounting Required 2 to 3 years of work experience in accounting Quickbooks experience (minimum 2 years working experience required) Bookkeeping (minimum 2 years working experience required) Intermediate Excel & MS Office knowledge is required.
