Job Overview:
Mississauga Chrysler is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automotive Accounting Assistant to join our team. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, performing account analysis, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate finance, payroll and account reconciliation. Proficiency in automotive accounting software such as CDK and 180 is preferred.

Duties:
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger accounts
- Perform account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Process payroll and ensure timely payment to employees
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate recording of transactions
- Responsible for Account Payable and Account Receivable
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
- Proven experience as an Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of corporate finance principles and procedures
- Proficiency in accounting software
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Solid understanding of account reconciliation processes
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Automotive accounting is an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
