Job Summary



Luxuria Group is looking for an enthusiastic Accounting Assistant to join our team at Luxuria Group. The ideal candidate will be passionate about numbers, with a strong attention to detail and working in a fast-paced and dynamic organization.

Responsibilities & Duties:



Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions. Prepare and process invoices, bills, and payments in accordance with established procedures. Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparing journal entries and performing account reconciliations. Assist in the management of accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. Provide general administrative support to the finance team, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping. Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and procedures, suggesting and implementing enhancements when necessary. Stay up to date with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.

Skills & Qualifications



Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. 0-3 years of previous experience in an accounting or finance role. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software. Previous work experience with Sage and Quick Books is preferred. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. Integrity and a high level of discretion when handling sensitive financial information.
