We are seeking an on site, detail-oriented and experienced Accounting and Property Management Administrator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and supporting various financial and property management operations. This position requires proficiency in accounting having current experience with Yardi property management and accounting software and a solid understanding of finance principles.

Responsibilities
Utilize accounting / property management software (Yardi) for monthly client statements, tenant ledgers and related correspondence.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections as well as government filing.
Prepare deposits, perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank reconciliations, to maintain accurate financial records.
Prepare and record journal entries as required.
Fulfill month-end and year-end requirements by preparing detailed reports on finances for management and client review.
Assist with and forecasting activities to support financial planning initiatives.
Collaborate to provide financial insights that drive business decisions.
Maintain organized records of all accounting documents for easy retrieval and reference.
Manage and execute on-going correspondence with clients, tenants and trades people.
Review, prioritize and direct all referrals and electronic correspondence.
Marketing properties for rent.
Preparing lease documents and managing tenant files.
Other related administrative functions.
Requirements
Minimum of three years progressive business and accounting experience in a computerized environment.
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of finance principles.
Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi is essential.
Solid knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, payroll, and bookkeeping practices.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to perform mathematical calculations and data entry with speed and accuracy.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with colleagues, owners, tenants, and trades people.
