Accounting Administrator
to manage our day-to-day accounting functions and serve as a friendly, organized point of contact for customers and vendors.

What You'll DoAccounts Receivable (AR)
Prepare and send customer invoices through
Microsoft Dynamics ERP
Collect AR and follow up on overdue accounts professionally by phone and email
Apply payments (EFT, credit card, cheque) to correct customer accounts
Reconcile AR aging reports; resolve customer discrepancies
Accounts Payable (AP)
Enter vendor invoices into
Dynamics
with accurate coding
Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving paperwork
Prepare payment runs and manage vendor terms
Reconcile vendor statements and track credits
Payroll
Collect, verify, and enter weekly employee hours
Process payroll for hourly and salaried staff
Ensure accuracy of overtime, vacation pay, and deductions
Maintain employee payroll files and respond to payroll questions
Tax Remittances & Compliance
Complete payroll source deduction remittances
Assist with GST/HST/PST and other government filings
Maintain organized documentation for accountants and year-end processes
General Accounting & Administration
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
Assist with month-end entries, accruals, and reporting
Maintain organized digital and paper filing systems
Answer phones
, greet visitors, and direct inquiries
Handle mail, scanning, data entry, and general office duties
Support process improvements and ERP workflow enhancements
What You Bring
2-5 years of accounting or accounting admin experience
Experience with
Microsoft Dynamics ERP
(or familiarity with similar ERP systems)
Strong AR/AP and payroll knowledge
Solid Excel and general computer skills
Clear, professional communication skills (phone + email)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks in a busy, fast-paced business
Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to help the team
Nice to have:
Experience in construction, marine, service, or manufacturing businesses
Job costing or project accounting knowledge
ERP workflow experience (receiving ? AP ? cost allocation, etc.)
