We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Administrator to join our head office team. The successful candidate will handle day-to-day accounting functions, including preparing pay cheques, processing invoices, and completing accurate data entry. This role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of accounting or administrative experience who is looking to grow within a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and process bi-weekly pay cheques for drivers
Generate and manage customer and vendor invoices accurately and on time
Perform data entry and maintain organized accounting records
Reconcile transactions and follow up on discrepancies as needed
Provide administrative support to the operations and accounting team
Assist with additional financial and office duties as required
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in accounting, payroll, invoicing, or data entry
Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or related field (asset but not required)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar is an asset)
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities with deadlines
