Seaford Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Accounting Administrator to join our Finance team on a contract basis. In this role, you will support the department's day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, data entry, reconciliations, and assistance with month-end and year-end procedures.



You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and supporting the preparation of financial reports and audits.

Responsibilities




Perform data entry, bookkeeping, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records

Track and record daily transactions, keeping timely and up-to-date records, and maintaining accurate financial data

Maintain general ledger and daily financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies and procedures

Assist in inventory analyses and reconciliation

Assist in preparing financial reports and budgets

Support audits and year-end financial reporting

Help document process workflows and maintain accurate records

Maintain financial documentation and well-organized filing systems (digital and physical)

Support the Accounting Department by performing administrative and clerical tasks, and assist the team in various projects

Process invoices and payments, update financial records, analyze and reconcile bank accounts

Manage accounts receivable and payable, ensuring compliance with agreed terms and credit limits

Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal departments to identify and resolve discrepancies in ledgers and accounts

Qualifications and Experience




Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting role

Experience with accounting software (e.g., Spire, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong Excel skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team
