Job Description

Position Summary



This position entails performing the accounting and bookkeeping for a small service branch, as well as managing the office administrative requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Accounting Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly financial statements with Quickbooks Online Complete monthly bank reconciliations Provide assistance to accounts payable clerk Support various branch operations with day-to-day accounting issues. Analyze financial statements to identify areas of concern and accuracy Prepare and send invoices to customers daily Collections on outstanding receivables Oversee semi-annual inventory counts Provide user training to employees to ensure that the ERP system is being used correctly. Provide support to the Corporate Controller as needed.
Office Management:

Manage office vendors such as general supplies, cleaners, small repairs, pest control, etc. Manage couriers, mail and oversee shipping and receiving paperwork. Assist with service and parts order processing. Ensuring that the office is organized and always properly maintained. Organizing office meetings, lunches and other group functions. Provide sales reporting to management as requested along with any other administrative responsibilities. Provide support to the Location Manager as needed.

Qualifications Required



The successful candidate for this role will have some combination of the following qualifications:



Accounting diploma or certificate Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting and office management Experience with Quickbooks Online is required Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Self-motivated and self-directed, able to look at issues and provide a possible solution to others. Willingness to help with branch issues that may extend beyond accounting.
