Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant /Controller who speaks and understands English to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and excellent organizational skills. As an CPA Accountant you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Prepare and process invoices, payments, and expense reports. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks). Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents. Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial information and support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA Proven experience in accounting/bookkeeping roles. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero). Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must speak English Working knowledge and experience in bookkeeping for companies located in Quebec Working knowledge and experience in filing for relevant taxes in Quebec

Experience:
