Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all day to day accounting and bookkeeping, managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in SAGE accounting software and a solid understanding of corporate finance principles.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial records. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights for financial planning. Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Prepare and submit regular GST, WorkSafe and Payroll remittances Utilize SAGE accounting software to preform daily accounting tasks including inventory

Skills

Proficiency in SAGE accounting software Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and practices. Experience in corporate finance, auditing, and financial services. Ability to perform account analysis and manage payroll processes effectively. Excellent skills in budgeting and account reconciliation. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Effective communication skills for presenting financial information clearly

Pay: From $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
