Prepare diverse quarterly reports, such as Diversification, Asset Manager feedback, Mortgage updates, Property Revenue, Expiry Details, and Leasing Statistics Summaries
Manage annual internal documents and schedules to ensure smooth operations
Assist in generating monthly and quarterly reports, engaging in discussions regarding property variances with Senior Accountants/Assistant Controller/Controller
Contribute to Director\xe2\x80\x99s Reports, participate in the budgeting process, and support audits as required
Handle accounts payable tasks including invoice review, client finance processing, and accurate electronic filing maintenance
Oversee indirect taxes for single and multi-purpose LPs, encompassing the preparation and filing of GST/HST/QST returns, processing of deposits, and assisting in audits
Maintain electronic mortgage files and prepare monthly commercial real estate leasing activity reports
Support special projects, liaise with relevant departments, and utilize problem-solving and communication skills to achieve objectives
About You
Minimum 1.5 years of Property Accounting OR full-cycle accounting experience including AP, reporting, and supporting period-end close
Corporate Real Estate Industry Experience
High Proficiency with MS Excel (Pivot tables, vlookups)
CPA in progress is required
Must have Strong Communication Skills and high attention to detail
Experience with Yardi would be considered an asset
Experience with CAM/TAX Recoveries
