What you will do:

• Monthly Close Process: Contribute towards an accurate and timely monthly close process by completing month-end processing tasks (e.g. prepaid and accrual calculations and journals, etc.). Preparation of all reconciliations, analytics and working papers to achieve and prepare the financial results
• Financial Analysis: Preparation of month-end and year-end journal entries, working papers, including Balance Sheet reconciliation reports and functional/departmental analysis reports
• Statutory & Regulatory Compliance: Support the year-end audit efforts, including assisting with the production of year end statutory working papers and reconciliations. Complete regulatory and tax filings in all of Semios\xe2\x80\x99 jurisdictions
• Identify accounting issues and improvements as they occur and recommend solutions

Requirements

We want you to succeed, so you will need:

• 2+ years of accounting experience with companies with multiple subsidiaries in different jurisdictions
• Experience completing month-end process tasks including reconciliations and journal entries
• A resilient, flexible, solution oriented approach to addressing areas of improvement, likes digging into issues and enjoys taking leadership in addressing problems
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
• Self-directed, highly motivated and energetic
• Outstanding work ethic with strong commitment to quality and delivering on time
• Comfortable as an individual contributor, collaborative team member and leader

Nice to have:

• CPA student
• Public practice experience
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
• A desire to improvement productivity through automation and tool implementation
• Strong working knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
