Position Overview




The Accountant Technician perform a variety of accounting tasks in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Hospital policies and procedures to assist the Finance team.




Provide administrative support in:

Accounts Receivable Revenue management Accounts Payable Disbursement control Ownership of the general ledger entries and control for the area of responsibility


While ensuring the general running and efficacy of the Business Office.



PERMANENT FULL-TIME POSITION, 37.5 hours per week

Possibility of working remotely for part of the job at the end of the training program.

What we are looking for




Education and experience

A related College Diploma in Business - Accounting A minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounting and or finance department in a similar role.




Skills

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Excel Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and French Excellent organizational skills, which will be utilized to meet multiple deadlines and handle multiple tasks within a high-pressure work environment Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Attention to details and high level of accuracy * Demonstrated sound work ethics and positive work attitude
