ACCOUNTANT - PART-TIME

With a growing footprint across North America through both direct-to-consumer and

wholesale channels, we are scaling quickly and bringing our accounting function

in-house with a dedicated professional who can help us build for the future.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is not just an accounting role--it's a chance to help shape the financial foundation

of a growing apparel brand. As our first in-house accountant, you will manage the day-

to-day accounting needs of the business while also developing scalable systems and

providing insights into channel performance, margins, and growth opportunities. You'll

touch everything from inventory costing to DTC and wholesale reconciliation, working

directly with leadership to ensure our financial operations keep pace with our growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable across retail, DTC, and
wholesale channels

Oversee month-end and year-end closing, including journal entries, reconciliations,
and reporting

Reconcile bank accounts, Shopify sales, wholesale invoices, and inventory/COGS Maintain and strengthen the general ledger, fixed assets, accruals, and prepaids Own inventory accounting: costing, reconciliations, and variance analysis Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, margin reports, and channel
performance

Support tax filings, audits, and compliance (sales tax, corporate, cross-border) Collaborate with leadership on financial planning, forecasting, and process
improvements

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience (retail/apparel/consumer goods preferred) Proficiency with QuickBooks Online (or similar ERP), Excel, and familiarity with Shopify integrations Strong understanding of inventory costing and reconciliations CPA designation (or in progress) is an asset Detail-oriented and analytical, with strong organizational skills Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and excited to help build
systems from the ground up

Pay: $48,000.00-$58,000.00 per year
