Your place in our story







The Accountant is responsible for providing high quality and timely financial reporting and analysis, and will be required to work collaboratively with their team members as well as various levels and groups within the business to validate monthly transactions and reporting as well as acquire supporting documentation as needed. The successful incumbent will use their previous experience with internal controls, problem solving, and analysis skills to be successful in this role.




Here's how you'll contribute






Perform property analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS Preparation of required journal entries and accruals Play a vital role in the month-end close by performing monthly allocation entries, income statement analysis, producing balance sheet reconciliations, and liaising with the relevant property managers to ensure relevant information is communicated appropriately Work with senior team members and management to ensure meaningful managerial reporting analysis is provided, and to identify and communicate opportunities and challenges that affect financial results Execute special projects including accounting policy changes and business process improvements as directed by management Assist with the design and implementation of ongoing process improvements and changes in the process and system of internal controls within and external to the Yardi environment Ensure adherence to the system of internal control established to provide accurate financial reporting and safeguarding of assets Assist management in the preparation of various ad hoc reporting and process documents Other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

University degree or college diploma (specializing in Accounting) Microsoft Office (Advanced/Superior Excel skills and Outlook) Prior experience in accounting
