Hey there, Busbud is looking for an Accountant to join our Montreal office!

We\xe2\x80\x99re on the looking for an Accountant to join our Montreal team. The Accountant will mainly be responsible for managing our day-to-day accounting and finance requirements while reporting directly to the Controller. We are looking for someone who is passionate about technology and numbers, who\xe2\x80\x99s got an analytical mind with a knack for problem-solving and finding solutions.

What you can expect from this opportunity:

• Record day-to-day financial transactions including bank transactions, invoicing customers, recording operator payments and collecting outstanding balances;
• Be the main point of contact for resolving operator issues related to reporting and payments;
• Processing payables to suppliers and maintaining accurate records of bills;
• Assist with the month-end close process, including bank/credit card reconciliations;
• Assist in maintaining the financial control environment;
• Assist in administering Busbud\xe2\x80\x99s foreign entities.

How can you impress us?

• At least 1-2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar type of role;
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or related field;
• Experience using Google Sheets (i.e. Excel and Word);
• Experience with an ERP system - past experience with NetSuite (an asset);
• Experience in a similar environment/start-up (an asset);
• Fluent in French and English, proficiency in Spanish is an asset;
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong ability to multitask and work independently
