GENERAL DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial transactions and reporting for our organization. Your expertise in accounting principles, financial analysis, and attention to detail will contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a strong accounting background to make a significant impact on our organization\'s financial health and success.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

- Review and analyze subcontractor product costs, overhead expenses, and other cost elements associated with COGS to identify any discrepancies or deviations from budgeted or standard costs and provide analysis of why they occurred.

- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to provide accurate and timely financial information to management.

- Conduct financial analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improving financial performance and efficiency.

- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and company policies.

- Perform general ledger entries, reconciliations, and maintain accurate and organized financial records.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to support decision-making processes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

- Assist in the coordination of external audits and provide necessary documentation and support.

- Monitor and analyze variances between actual and budgeted financial results, and investigate and explain any discrepancies.

- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements where necessary.

- Provide financial guidance and support to management and colleagues, addressing any inquiries and offering insights into financial matters.

- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance the efficiency of financial operations.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

- Over 3 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.

- Background in hi-tech/electronics industry.

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting standards.

- Proficiency in using accounting software and tools (e.g., MS Business Central, Excel, etc.).

- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

- High level of integrity and ethics, ensuring confidentiality of financial information.

- Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines.

- Professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA) is a plus.

- Familiarity with ERP systems or other financial software is an advantage.
