What will you be doing?

• Prepare and record journal entries - accruals, cost allocations/re allocations, mark-ups

• Prepare monthly unit reports

• Perform Operational Cost Analysis

• Analyze periodic cost information to pinpoint trends and issues

• Assists in the annual budgeting process,

• Complete budgeted cost assumptions for all product lines

• Maintain tracking and reporting process to compare actual expenses to budget

• New product release

• Assist during annual audits by gathering, summarizing and providing information to fulfill audit requirements

• Other duties/responsibilities as assigned to help support business needs

What do you bring?

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in finance and cost accounting in manufacturing

• Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Knowledgeable in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

• Knowledge of Oracle and Planful Software an asset

• Must be able to work independently and in a team environment and maintain confidentiality of information

• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills along with strong organizational, research, decision-making, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills

• Strong analytical skills a must
