Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing insightful financial analysis to support business decisions. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a strong understanding of corporate finance principles.

Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports. Perform bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are recorded accurately. Conduct account reconciliation and analysis to identify discrepancies. Understand E-commerce platform such as shopify. Manage accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and collections. Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Proven experience in corporate finance or as an accounting clerk. Strong knowledge of account reconciliation and account analysis techniques. Familiarity with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft is preferred. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $18.37-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
