Description du poste

Le ou la

Comptable

sera responsable des operations comptables quotidiennes, de l'exactitude des donnees financieres et du soutien aux activites de l'entreprise. Ce poste necessite de fortes competences organisationnelles, de l'autonomie et une grande rigueur. Une experience dans le secteur alimentaire ou de la distribution constitue un atout.

Responsabilites principales

Effectuer les taches comptables quotidiennes et tenir des registres financiers precis Gerer les

comptes fournisseurs (A/P)

et

comptes clients (A/R)

Preparer les

rapprochements bancaires

et assurer le suivi de la tresorerie Traiter les paiements, incluant

transferts bancaires et paiements aux fournisseurs

Preparer et remettre les declarations

TPS/TVQ

et autres remises gouvernementales Participer aux processus de fin de mois et de fin d'annee Maintenir les grands livres et soutenir les exigences d'audit Gerer les aspects financiers des

polices d'assurance

de l'entreprise (renouvellements, attestations, suivi des reclamations) Communiquer avec les fournisseurs, clients, institutions financieres et comptables externes Appuyer la direction avec les rapports et analyses financieres au besoin

Qualifications

Minimum 5 ans d'experience en comptabilite

Diplome en comptabilite, finance ou domaine connexe Excellente comprehension des A/P, A/R, rapprochements et cycle comptable complet Experience en declarations TPS/TVQ Maitrise d'un logiciel comptable (Sage, Acomba, QuickBooks, etc.) Tres bonne maitrise d'Excel et des outils informatiques Sens aigu du detail et forte capacite d'organisation Capacite a travailler de facon autonome et a gerer des informations confidentielles Experience dans le secteur alimentaire ou la distribution (atout)

Position Overview

The

Accountant

will be responsible for day?to?day accounting operations, financial accuracy, and supporting the business with reliable financial information. This role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, and experience in the food or distribution industry is considered an asset.

Key Responsibilities

Perform daily accounting tasks and maintain accurate financial records Manage

Accounts Payable (A/P)

and

Accounts Receivable (A/R)

Prepare

bank reconciliations

and monitor cash flow Process payments, including

wire transfers and supplier payments

Prepare and file

GST/PST

and other government remittances Assist in month?end and year?end closing processes Maintain accurate ledgers and support audit requirements Manage financial aspects of

company insurance policies

(renewals, certificates, claims follow?ups) Communicate with vendors, customers, financial institutions, and external accountants Support management with financial reporting and analysis as needed

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of accounting experience

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Strong knowledge of A/P, A/R, reconciliations, and full?cycle accounting Experience with GST/PST filings Proficiency with accounting software (Sage, QuickBooks, Acomba, etc.) Strong Excel and computer skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability Ability to work independently and manage confidential information Experience in the food or distribution industry is an asset
