We believe our differences are our strengths, letting us look at cannabis in a whole new light. Here is where you come in as a Junior Accountant, reporting to the Accounting Manager. A team player at heart, you build strong relationships across the organization in order to develop an understanding of business operations. You are a key component supporting the Accounting Department in the daily processing of transactions and in month-end closing processes. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Financial Data & Account Year Cycle

• Support Accounts Reliable and Accounts Payable\xe2\x80\x99s daily activities
• Enter Accounts Payables and Sales invoices
• Communicate with vendors in a professional way and in time
• Ensure general ledger account reconciliations, preparation of GST, PST filing
• Review monthly GST reporting, and PST liability account reconciliation
• Set up vendors, validate vendor banking information, and facilitate wire payment processing and confirmation
• Process monthly working paper file updates
• Assist with customer registration and credit reference check process

Collaboration

• Support with the preparation and issuance of documents, relating to AR billing, and the revenue cycle
• Partnering with Procurement team to ensure the AP process is continuedly SOX compliant
• Work cross-functionally with other members in assisting of Quarterly and Annual audit requests
• Assist our Accounting Manager with other duties that may arise

Financial Audits & Compliance

• Continuous daily support with SOX compliance to ensure our internal controls are being followed accurately
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Compliance team to ensure excise tax refund claims are filed monthly

OTHER DUTIES At Pure Sunfarms, we are all growers at heart. Our plants and processes require in-person care and attention to ensure we\xe2\x80\x99re bringing the best our plants and people have to offer to our consumers. This means other duties may arise since we work together to ensure we support all business activities \xe2\x80\x93 seed to sale. This role is on-site, which requires you to work in Pure Sunfarms facility at all times in an operating role or directly supporting operations. YOUR BRAND, YOUR STORY We already know you enjoy working with numbers and you are a real go-getter with strong organizational skills and attention to detail, but we want to know more about your story and experiences. You are good at the following:

• Accounting Business related courses and/or working towards Accounting Diploma or Degree.
• 2 + years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in AP tasks, entry level accounting and/or accounting processes.
• Hands on experience and knowledge at the processes in AP and Purchasing
• Solid knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Ability to exercise professional judgment and decision-making.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Able to work in a dynamic environment and multi-task with competing demands and frequent change.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt; maintain focus, and a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to effectively manage time and establish clear objectives and day-to-day priorities in a fast-paced work environment; can adhere to tight deadlines and implement last-minute changes as needed.
