What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Be Doing: Reporting into the Manager, Operations Finance, you will assist in providing financial support to our Long Term Care Communities.
  • Perform month-end close procedures for a portfolio of properties with quality and diligence, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial results - using MS Excel functions and communicate insights on risks and opportunities to Operations.
  • Partner collaboratively with the Operations team and various support teams.
  • Support the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Support ad hoc projects and assignments as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all data including financial and residents.
Who You Are:
  • You have a Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce or related discipline
  • You are proficient in MS Excel with ability to create reports, complete look-ups, and analyze data
  • You have at least a year of experience in full-cycle accounting - accruals, reconciliations, journal entries
  • You are working toward a Chartered professional accounting designation (CPA)
  • You have excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • You are detail oriented with strong organizational skills
