Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires a strong background in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency with accounting software.

DUTIES

Enter daily journal/ledger entries and daily adjusting entries Payroll, leave and ROE, and T4 tasks Federal, Provincial Tax and duties remittances as well as CBSA filing Internal reporting (sales, inventory turnover, etc) Invoicing and Payables Prepare bill payment reports Cost accounting for inventory receipts, reconciliation, and receiving Other accounting duties as required
REQUIREMENTS:

Post-secondary degree or diploma required in a relevant field (Accounting, Finance, Operations etc.) Minimum 3 years of accounting or related experience Quick learner with excellent organizational and time-management skills Ability to consistently meet departmental deadlines Strong computer skills (word processing, spreadsheets, e-mail, ERP, Accounting Software) Positive attitude with emphasis on teamwork, flexibility and problem solving.

Pay: $40,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
