Phasor Engineering is a dynamic North America based company specializing in engineering, design, panel fabrication, and testing/commissioning of high voltage electrical facilities. Our focus is to incorporate the latest technological advances to provide the most cost-effective and efficient solutions to power system engineering. This focus allows us to be involved in a diverse range of projects from conceptual engineering through to commissioning and startup.


We are currently seeking a highly motivated accounting student to join our team on a full-time basis. This role will be based out of our Calgary, AB, office.

Responsibilities:

Job set up and billing Assist with monthly project billing Assist in job openings per the PO specifications Accounts payable Vendor setup according to corporate guidelines Monitoring mailboxes for invoices Ensure appropriate approvals for invoices Matching PO to invoices and shipping documents Invoice posting and filing Accounts payable accruals Reconciliation of company credit cards Reconciliation of expense reports Monthly GST filing and payment Payroll Timesheet entry Equipment time entry Time entry to Open Air General Ledger Journal entries entry Scanning and uploading journal entries Bank reconciliations

Qualifications:

University or college courses in accounting 1 or more years related industry and project accounting experience in North America.

Requirements:

Experience with JDE or Eclipse is considered an asset Strong Microsoft Excel proficiency Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proactive and demonstrate initiative in identifying and taking on projects and duties. Pride in work and attention to detail and accuracy are essential.

Preference will be given to candidates who can stay for eight months or longer.
