Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Accountant/Accounts Receivable Supervisor for our fast growing client in the forestry industry. The Accountant is responsible for managing the billing specialists in the Burnaby office.
Duties:
- Calculating dividends and commissions for sales/export traders.
- Reconciling inventory and dealing with vendor managed inventory
- Managing a team of 3 billing specialists.
- Creating weekly reports to suppliers overseas.
- Open sales orders
- Cash flow management
- Granting credit
Requirements
Requirements:
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to train and lead a team
Nice to Have:
- CPA designation or close to one preferred.
- Experience leading a small team is a plus
- Experience working for forestry/lumber/logistics industry
