We are looking for an

Accountant

to join BrokerLink and work out of our

Calgary, AB

office on a

Permanent Full-Time basis.

What the Role Entails:

Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements, supporting schedules, and other reporting requirements. Support the Financial reporting team during month, quarter and year end Reconcile various balance sheet accounts including bank, payroll, capital assets, bonus and other sub-ledger accounts. Work on preliminary/final purchase price calculations for new acquisitions and prepare purchase journal entries. Review opening/final acquisition balances, monthly movements, and final reconciliations for various acquisitions. Prepare various regulatory and government reporting (RIBO, GST&HST, sales taxes, quarterly surveys etc.) Complete other tasks as assigned and other ad-hoc reporting and accounting projects as required

The Successful candidate will have:

Diploma or Degree in accounting, finance 3-5 years relevant experience in full-cycle accounting, financial analysis Must have advanced excel skills Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Ability to work well with and assist others Strong attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem solving, organizational, time management, prioritizing and multitasking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
