The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Accountant to join our team. Based out of our Calgary downtown location, the successful candidate will be responsible for general accounting duties including journal entries, reconciliations, assistance with financial and management reporting, maintaining budgets within Sage software, accruals, accounts payable and other accounting and administrative duties as required. The position reports directly to the Assistant Controller and will also provide support to members of the Finance team.
Key Tasks:
? Preparation of standard journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals including any supporting working papers to support financial reporting processes.
? Monitor accounts payable master files and ensure valid active vendor information.
