Job Description
LOCATION: Barrie, Ontario TITLE: Accountant SALARY: Depending on Experience - 35 hrs / week St Onge Recreation, located at 65 Hart Drive in BARRIE, ON, is a premier retailer of New and Pre-owned Recreational Products. We are looking to fill a Full-time position of Accountant in our Accounting Department. Ideal candidates would work Monday thru Friday 9-5 in own family owned business. Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Accounting and or Bookkeeping required. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Journal entries
- Maintaining Accounts Payable
- Maintaining Accounts Receivable
- Reconciling Accounts
- Credit Card Reconciliation
- HST
- Month end reporting
- Year end reporting
- Pay Roll experience would be an asset
- Benefit Administration would be an asset
- WSIB experience would be an asset
- Experience working with Canadian Customs
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting and or Bookkeeping required
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience
- Computer Applications: Windows, Electronic mail, Word processing software, Excel, Accounting software, Internet browser, Deluxe Payroll system
