MCRAE'S ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES LTD is a hydrovac company in BC and Alberta with branches in Richmond, Victoria, and Edmonton. Hydro excavation is our primary business however we also do sewer line flushing, CCTV pipe inspection and more. At McRae's, our customers are the priority. That's why we always strive to provide them with reliable information and the best customer service.

We are looking for a full-time accountant/analyst in our Richmond head office location Monday to Friday during business hours.

Responsibilities:
- Analyze labour hours versus billing hours and report the results daily to operations management

- Sales reporting

- Customer analysis such as average revenue per labour hour and gross margin analysis

- Daily cash reporting

- Journal entry posting

- General ledger account reconciliations

- Overload coverage for invoicing and accounts payable (vacation or month end relief)

- Other related duties as needed.

Experience:

- Proficiency in English, oral and written
- Previous experience as an accountant/analyst

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficient in record keeping
- Proficiency in math
- Ability to communicate effectively with others

- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Ability to summarize and present information to senior management
