Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

\xc2\xb7 Reviewing and reconciling accounts

\xc2\xb7 Processing payments to external partners

\xc2\xb7 Maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts

\xc2\xb7 Filing monthly sales tax and EHT returns

\xc2\xb7 Assisting in the preparation for the annual audit

\xc2\xb7 Participating in the rollout of finance projects and initiatives

\xc2\xb7 Helping with the finance team all duties associated with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for all accounting work related to taxes, including bookkeeping and invoicing

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications and skills:

\xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Accounting and Finance from an accredited institute or equivalent experience

\xc2\xb7 Minimum of 1 year of Canadian and/or US accounting experience.

\xc2\xb7 Fluency in speaking, reading, and writing the English language

\xc2\xb7 Good computer skills including ERP systems, Microsoft Office

\xc2\xb7 Proactive problem-solving/judgment skills

\xc2\xb7 Able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

\xc2\xb7 Attention to detail;

\xc2\xb7 Organized, proactive, and self-motivated individual capable of producing results and meeting deadlines;

\xc2\xb7 Ability to establish effective working relationships with colleagues and clients;

\xc2\xb7 Ability to effectively multi-task and work in a fast-paced, business environment;

\xc2\xb7 Expected to manage work with minimum supervision
