Our finance team has a busy year end coming up soon and is seeking a Contract Accountant (Designated or CPA Student nearing completion) for 3 months to join our Surrey, BC head office to help us close off the year.
This role is for someone who is a self-motivated, detailed problem solver that prides themselves on accuracy and improvement with a "roll up your sleeves" attitude.

What You'll Do:
Working With Our Existing Finance Team:
Complete year-end reconciliations and ensure accuracy of all financial records.
Prepare and update year-end schedules and working papers in accordance with accounting standards.
Draft and assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting reports.
Compile and organize documentation for year-end information requests and audits.
Support management and finance teams with ad hoc analyses, reports, and special projects as assign
What You Bring:
Experience:
CPA Student or Designated Accountant with 3-5 years of experience, focusing on year-end close cycles, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Team Player:
Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team, while also being self-sufficient and able to manage individual tasks.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and decision-making abilities; stays calm under pressure and adapts quickly to change.
Technical Skills:
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with Great Plains is a definite asset. Comfortable learning and quickly adapting to new software and tools.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including professional communication via email and mobile messaging.
Work Ethic:
Organized, dependable, and capable of managing multiple priorities without compromising accuracy, quality, or compliance.
