Our Team

Account Services Analyst is central to the creation and distribution of reports to multiple client groups at our Port Colborne Refinery. The role is crucial in the monitoring of production planning, quality management and shipment of refined products from our facility.

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Account Services Analyst to join our team at our Port Colborne Refinery facility in ON. This is a permanent position.

In this position, you will:

  • Process large volumes of proforma invoices within tight deadlines.
  • Ensure proper approvals are obtained for all invoices and that vendors are notified of the approval process.
  • Confirm that charges are made to appropriate accounts and that releases for payment of invoices within the SAP system are accurately recorded.
  • Liaise with vendors, North Atlantic Finance and Procurement employees about vendor discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Prepare shipping documents, monthly summary reporting and invoice validations.
  • Maintain contractor records, process special payments through the correct SAP process.
  • Process deposits, perform key month end accounting functions including accruals and monthly reports.
  • Prepare and distribute month end summary and required documentation for shipment and of refined products.
About You

Education:
  • College Diploma in a related field.
Experience:
  • Minimum 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a similar position.
  • Supervisory experience is beneficial.
Skills:
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Must be skilled in data analysis and problem solving.
  • Software skills of MS Office Products and SAP.
  • Strong organization and time management skills.
  • Able to work independently with limited supervision.
